Divorce is not the final end to your life. You have value beyond what your spouse thinks of you or anyone else. Listen to the experience of Dr Gladys McGarey, a 102-year-old christian woman who is known as the “Mother of Holistic Medicine.” In a video, she talks about how her husband of 46 years left her with a letter. She yelled out and then found peace in a new path forward, pivoting with the verse “This is the day that the Lord has made. I will be glad in it.” And her name “Gladys” was fitting for the decision that she would be glad. And she even got it on her license plate. Choosing love and joy on the path forward made her thrive. Choosing gratitude and connecting with life made her live. She also found her voice and we are blessed to hear it.
